Szechuan Delight

EDIT: I honestly think people that complain about the service have sticks up their bums. It's a strip-mall counter service take-out place. Not a fancy restaurant that hires professional wait staff. I don't know where these people are getting such high expectations. You call or go inside and you tell them what you want, they make it, you pay and leave with some great food, that's about it. Don't expect anything more than a transaction, no idea where the entitlement comes from... My favorite place for Chinese take-out. I used to go here every other week when I lived close by. Unbeatable portion sizes for price. Beef teriyaki is great, Dumplings are really good, Egg rolls and Spring Rolls are good, General Tso's chicken is one of my favorites, the beef lo mein is great, the fried rice is occasionally dry but with how much they give you I find it hard to complain The hot and sour soup was surprisingly delicious as well. I truly don't think I've ever gotten bad food from here, even the VERY few times it was slightly overcooked I found myself enjoying it more than any of the food at the other Cape Chinese spots. Whether you are here visiting or a local, if you like Chinese food you gotta try Szechuan Delight at least once, it's really just that good in my opinion.

I am not a big poster of photos so hopefully this works! The picture below is a #5 sweet and sour chicken dinner combination and a small chicken lo mein.. There is so much food here.. this is 1 dinner combo. It comes with crab rangoons and the yummy pork on the side. It is so good and the people that work here are so nice, they have been a staple in our community for such a long time, I feel I owed it to them to post a nice review and a great photo of the consistently great food we receive. Proud to call these folks neighbors and appreciate them bringing us fresh and healthy options continuously ( yes, You could pick something that's not the best for you but that's on you) . A couple weeks back I got takeout when visiting a friend and the food was really great! Everything tasted so good and I definitely ate more than I should. The chicken wings were so crispy and the eggplant was so fresh. Every dish was better than the next. I'd definitely go back again and in fact would insist on it the next time I'm in town. Yum!

I don't often leave reviews but I'm feeling compelled to do so while I'm eating. I ordered chicken and garlic along with vegetable fried rice and Spring rolls. The fried rice is light and flavorful (not greasy), the chicken and garlic dish has a generous portion of vegetables with nice flavor and the Spring roll is fresh and delicious. I was delayed in my pickup and the food remained hot despite my tardy pick up. A

Best crab Rangoon I ever have and I love this place

Covid era review: this small take out only shop did a fantastic job on an incredibly busy Christmas eve. They were slammed with orders, but handled the business efficiently -- calling out orders by last four digits of phone number to the masked crowd waiting outside. My food was excellent and there were no errors even though half the dishes were off-menu customized. They did a great job on a tough night. And they took Covid precautions very seriously keeping themselves and their customers safe. The food was very good and of course, the portions were large -- an excellent value.
